Macherey-Nagel Bioanalysis

Powered by a Century of Separation Expertise (for the Netherlands only)

Since its founding in 1911, MACHEREY-NAGEL has built a legacy in Filtration, Testing, and Chromatography—laying the scientific foundation for its trusted Bioanalysis portfolio. Drawing on decades of expertise in analytical separation, MN has been delivering ready-to-use kits for the purification of DNA, RNA, and proteins since 1993.

Today, MACHEREY-NAGEL Bioanalysis products are relied upon by scientists worldwide for their precision, reliability, and performance. Whether for academic research, industrial applications, or molecular diagnostics, MN kits—based on anion exchange, silica membrane, and magnetic bead technologies—ensure high purity, reproducibility, and efficiency.

These innovative solutions are readily available, backed by MACHEREY-NAGEL’s commitment to quality, technical excellence, and customer-focused support.

Product Highlights:

NucleoBond Xtra Midi:

The NucleoBond Xtra series offers a new generation of anion-exchange midiprep kits. These kits are designed for ultra-fast (as little as 30 minutes with NucleoBond Finalizers) and highly efficient purification of transfection-grade plasmid DNA. They consistently provide outstanding yields and ultra-high purity, with endotoxin levels crucial for sensitive downstream applications such as cloning, sequencing, and cell transfection.

NucleoBond HMW DNA kit:

For applications demanding large, intact DNA, MN offers the NucleoBond HMW DNA kit. This kit is specifically designed for the isolation of high molecular weight (HMW) DNA, typically ranging from 50 kb to 150-200 kb, from a wide variety of sample materials including cells, human and animal tissues, plants, blood, saliva, and bacteria. The extracted HMW DNA maintains high purity and integrity, making it ideal for critical applications like long-read sequencing (e.g., Oxford Nanopore and PacBio) and next-generation sequencing. MN's HMW kits provide a reliable and efficient solution for researchers requiring high-integrity genomic DNA for complex genomic studies.
